To join CRPF , you have to go through four types of examinations. Written Exam Physical Test Medical Test and Interview. For this we are telling you below.
There are 2 papers in the written examination, first paper and second paper, about which we are telling you below.
“ General Ability and Intelligence” In this first paper, all the questions are of objective type, this paper is of two hundred and fifty marks, the questions can be in both Hindi and English.
“ General Knowledge and Essay Writing” In this paper, essay has to be written in Hindi and this paper is of 200 marks, communication skill should be good in English.
If you pass in the written test then you will be called for physical test in which you have to complete 100 meters race in 16 seconds and for women it is 18 seconds. The high jump is 1.05 meters for men and 0.90 meters for women. After passing the physical test, they are called for the medical test.
After passing the physical test, you are called for a medical test, in which you have a medical checkup in every way that you do not have any disease or you are not winning from any serious disease, so all the blood tests etc. .
In the interview, you can be asked questions on any subject other than General Knowledge, History, Geography Science, if you pass in the interview, then you understand that you can join CRPF.

The recruitment of Assistant Commandants in CRPF is done by the Union Public Service Commission . Certain qualifications are sought for the recruitment of Assistant Commandant. As such the candidate should have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Minimum age limit should be 20 or 25 years. However, there is a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for SC/ST category candidates.
1- Paper 1
General Aptitude and Intelligence – This paper will be of 250 marks in which objective type questions will be asked in English as well as Hindi.
2- Paper 2
General Studies, Essay & Comprehension – This paper will be of 200 marks. In this paper candidates will be given the option to write Essay in English or Hindi but the medium of Precise Writing, Comprehension Components and Communications/Language Skills will be English only.
For admission in CRPF’s Sub Inspector (SI) post, the candidate has to first appear in the written examination. After passing the written test, they are called for physical test and medical test. In which you have to complete a 1 mile run in 6.5 minutes. And three chances are given for the long jump of 12 feet.
In the first paper, questions are asked from General Awareness and General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Ability. For which 200 marks are fixed.
Essay in English and Hindi in the second paper and
Questions are asked from Precise Writing (English) and Comprehension Of Given Passage In English. Which is assigned 100 marks.
Constable (General Duty)
For admission to the post of Constable (GD) in CRPF, the candidate has to first appear in the written examination. Educational Qualification for Constable/GD in CISF is 10th class pass from recognized State Board/Central Board.
